Together with the launch of Airtags, Apple expanded my features to make use of more than just an iPhone owner and Bluetooth radio to find lost devices. New findings I can use iPhone, iPad, and other MAC people to join the search for your lost property, although only if the feature has been activated for the product line. That was promised by APPI for AirPods Pro and Max with iOS 15, and, after a short delay, the feature was finally launched.

It is possible to find airpod using the plain from my application, but it has a very specific limit. It only functions in the bluetooth range, which is only useful if you already know the public area where the earbud might. If you can’t remember where you really leave it, you will be less fortunate before this update.

With the latest firmware for airpods pro and airpods max, found buds have become a little easier with the help of others. Other devices that apply to Apple are wider, the network I will notify the owner if they have ever approached the accessory. Of course, you must remember to turn on the missing mode first for it to happen.

The update also refreshes my application interface when searching for the nearest airpod. UI now looks similar to an airtags’ find the screen closest, but without instructions because airpods don’t have ultra-wideband u1 chips. It will only tell you about how close you are from the bud.

To get this critical new functionality, you must update the airpods and airpods max to the latest firmware. That, unfortunately, can occur almost randomly without a way to trigger updates manually.
