It’s time for that time again: Epic Games has launched his latest Halloween Fortnite celebration with four weeks of new experience, spooky skin, and other fun things to make players stay comforted. This year’s fortnitemary incident includes a previous limited time mode return, as well as new Halloween skin, new weapons, and more.

Fortnitemares 2021 starts with October and will run for the next four weeks until November 1. During this time, players will buy some new Halloween themed skins, watch “shortnitemenemares” during the next short nites film festival at Royale’s party, and play Fortnitemare LTM which doesn’t exist in a while.

Among other things, fortnitemares includes the arrival of a double field hunter, which is basically a double pistol version of the crossbow Hunter Fielter – yes, that means you get two smaller crossbows per hand. This double crossbows shoots faster than the previous arrow while causing more damage to monster cubes.

Speaking of cubes, Epic said this year’s fortnitemary event will include eccalation of cubes’ “domination” throughout the island. It is not clear whether it means we will see them form a cube city that leaked as the next POI or if there is something else in the pipe. Whatever, most likely will be a few weeks before whatever the change arrives.

Epic does not announce everything that will happen this month, note that it will return with additional information – including when the next short nite will occur – in the coming days. Until then, players could jump to LTMS creepy, fight the cube monsters with new crossbows, and check the latest Halloween costumes in the item store.
