Galaxy Book Windows 11 update highlights ties with Samsung phones
With the launch of Windows 11, some PC makers have raised their hands to ask attention to the new PC that will be sent with Microsoft’s latest OS outside the box. Other OEMs, however, may not have the same resources to encourage truly new and satisfied laptops and desktops just to announce that existing products will be eligible for free upgrades. Of course, Samsung also takes the opportunity to remind its customers that they can already enjoy integration with their cellphones even before Windows 11 gets promised original support for the Android application.
Samsung has enjoyed some special treatment from Microsoft for several years now, partnerships that resulted in several useful recognized features if you type that always need your cellphone near your Windows computer. While Windows 11 will try to make it excessive by letting you run the Android application directly, it may still be much more convenient to access your cellphone from the desktop without touching your cellphone. That is, of course, if your cellphone is a Samsung Galaxy phone recently.
The announcement of upgrading Windows 11 Samsung hesitantly focuses more on features available in Windows 10. Links to Windows, for example, not only allows you to access notifications and phone messages from Windows, but also allow you to run an Android application from a desktop or laptop. The main difference with what will soon be owned by Windows 11 is that you run the application that has been installed and set on your mobile, more like long-distance telephone access rather than original support for Android applications.
The company also sets the launch time of Windows 11 with several upgrades and new features itself. Live wallpaper and dynamic wallpaper support comes from Galaxy phones to Galaxy books, for example. For those who truly immersed in the Samsung ecosystem, the biggest news might be the official availability of Bixby in Windows, bringing voice control to your smart home to your Samsung laptop.
Bixby on Windows is only compatible with the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey, Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book Pro 360, and the Galaxy Book Pro. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G is recorded as the first Galaxy book to start shipping with Windows 11 outside the box. The rest must go through a process of improving to Windows 11 after the update is available.
