Squid Game Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has teased the film that will come by the book killing the old man club.

Director of South Korea will make “another controversial film,” he said, inspired by the novel from Italian intellectual and Estimeist Umberto Eco (via Variety).

Hwang has explained that he has written a 25-page treatment for the project, which has the work title K.o. The club and could be the reason why filmmakers had to hide from parents, he joked.

“It will be harder than the Squid game,” teases Hwang.

He is behind the game Survival Survival Squid sensation Netflix, where a series of characters are struggling financially accepted to compete in children’s games for cash prizes … only to learn the stakes higher than they imagine.

Starring Lee Jung-jae as the protagonist of Seong Gi-Hun, the first series on the streamer last September and became very popular, with many fans who created clothes and games from the show, of course.

Hwang is currently developing a second season, with Lee Jung-jae playing a role after the last cliffhanger.

From the look, it looks like a red-headed Seong Gi-Hun will now return to the arena to stop the game and might work with new players. You know, because most of the characters are from the dead season.

The first season also starred in Hoyeon, Park Hae-soo, Gong Yoo, O Yeong-soo and WI Ha-Joon, but it was not clear whether they would return to flashbacks.

Game Squid Season Dua (and the three-planned season) could have been in making. The real game is guessing whether we will see the sequel series, arranged for the final release of 2024, or K.o. Club first.

Squid game season 1 is streaming now on Netflix. Season 2 has been confirmed.
