Tinder and Lyft team to simplify transportation to and from dates

Lyft Ridesharing services have worked together with Tinder to offer new features for those who hope to go date again. For the times you press with someone who doesn’t have your own car, you can now use Lyft to send to Tinder User Credit up to where you will meet. This avoids the potential risks and hassle selecting the date directly.

Lyft announces new features today; Users can find it at the Hub Explore App Tinder where the card that reads “LYFT” is now available. Tapping that the Explore Hub Card will open a feature that allows Tinder users to send a ride to their date through Lyft’s credit so that they can get to the meeting location.

Users who send credit can limit how much they will pay for travel costs, and whether their credit is for one-way trip or round trip. This feature may prove very useful for users who want to meet matches that do not have a car and may not have access to reliable public transportation.

According to Lyft, the new offer is integrated with Tinder application. Users who buy credit up will be presented with a link that can be shared that they can send them manually to their date. The match can then receive credit up, which will be added to their LYFT account for their trip.

Users must install the LYFT application to redeem credit ride. This allows someone to buy their dating friends without sharing or receiving their personal information, including their home address, which makes the whole process safer for everyone involved compared to taking your dating friends directly.
