Galaxy Watch 4 now has Samsung’s Internet web browser
One of the last things you might want to do on the SmartWatch is to read heavy-weight content, whether it’s a long email, book, or website. However, all cases of use can occur several times in the use of smartwatch users, and may be convincing to know that they can do it if they really need. Of course, you must have the right application for it, and Samsung has just launched a smartwatch version of its rather popular internet browser for the latest Galaxy Watch 4 series.
Samsung internet for smartwatches is actually there for quite a long time now, so this might not really news to the owner of the Gear and Galaxy Smartwatches Samsung. Although it is very uncomfortable to really see web pages on a small screen, Samsung Internet at least offers the ability to do so if there is an email or message requires a quick check on several websites.
What’s new in this release, however, is the support for using the OS, which is the Galaxy Watch 4 watch and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The previous application version only exists in the world of SMARTWATCH based on Samsung Tizen, so this version marks the latest company efforts to migrate its application with a sense of OS use. Some of them including the actual Walkie Talkie application are the first to use the OS, at least as far as the first-party OEM application goes.
Although it offers convenience to have a web browser on your wrist, the Samsung internet smartwatch application ironically it only contains the desktop version of a web page rather than a more cellular layout. It depends on the friction sliding to navigate around the web page, but you can at least pinch to enlarge and minimize certain areas. This application offers voice search and bookmarks to save you from having to type things.
While Samsung Internet has indeed landed at set OS, other smartwatch brand users should not get their expectations. For better or worse, the market using OS may see a new phase in the history of the platform that can be used where there will be more exclusive applications for smartwatches. In the race, Samsung might lead because it has resources and experience in developing applications that can be worn longer than people like fossils or mobvoi.
