iPad mini 6 now reported to have a screen distortion problem
Consider how it remains unchanged for years, iPad Mini 2021, A.K.A. iPad mini 6, almost overshadowed the iPhone 13 due to the increase and change this year. While these changes have so far seemed and sounded great, there seemed to be some uncredded tangles before the tablet began to be produced. Following complaints about the effect of “Jelly Scroll”, some owners of iPad Mini 6 are now reporting different problems, which are still bound to a shiny new screen.
Apple changed the formula significantly for the sixth mini iPad that surpassed only designs. One of the biggest is a larger screen that is brought along with it a new display controller and may have forced the new internal layout of the tablet component. Unfortunately, the change can also cause some small slate misery, even though the jury still comes out on what triggers this latest report.
The thread on Reddit has several crammed owners on the observation of the strange phenomena that occur on the iPad Mini screen 6. When held in vertical orientation (portraits), lightly pressing some parts of the screen causes strange distortion blinking near the top of the screen. Distortion occurs in the same area and triggered when pressing a few radiuses far from those points.
Reddit users who started the cememnology teaser might have something to do with the battery and some ribbons folded correctly, but Teardown Ifixit did not reveal any reason to worry. They did it, however, theorizing that the placement of a new screen controller might have something to do with the scroll latency that had been reported first.
The little good news is that this strange distortion doesn’t seem to be a widespread case and, given the obvious problem, easily guarantee replacement. It would be interesting to hear what Apple must say about it if they even admit the problem at all. This might not be able to claim, however, that this is a normal behavior for the LCD screen.
